The main function of the bottom valve is to prevent the reverse flow of the medium, the reverse rotation of the pump, to keep the inlet pipeline close when fill the pump inlet with water before starting the pump.
H42X bottom valve is a one-way opening and closing valve to prevent medium flow. It is generally installed at the bottom of the underwater suction pipe of the water pump to restrict the liquid returning to the pool from pump pipe suction pipe.
H42X bottom valve is composed of valve body, valve disc, valve cover, bushing, sealing ring and other parts. The water from the pool enters the valve from the valve body. Under the action of the fluid pressure, the valve disc opens, and then water enters to the pump suction pipe. When the pressure in the pump outlet pipe closes, then the valve disc quickly close, the liquid will not return to the water pool, which plays the role of smooth pumping and saving water energy loss.
