Steel grating stairs, also know as welded steel bar grating stairs, the most strong and durable metal grating products. They are made from the mild carbon steel or stainless steel. We provide a full solution of steel bar grating, press locked grating,heavy duty grating, steel stair treads,plank gratings,safety grating, trench cover,etc. All the gratings are extremely strong and durable for all the bearing application. And all grating products are fully recyclable.
Due to the extremely strong and durable for all the bearing application,steel grating stairs has become the most popular grating in the markets.The stability makes them have a much higher performance in the application.
We also can shear or form the steel gratings to any specification or desired shape. Because of those excellent characteristic,the steel grating stairs can be widely used in flooring,deck,walkway,platform.

Stair step is made up steel grating according to DIN 24537and treading section, which is reinforced by special profile with anti-slip arrangement.
Stair steps meet the requirements of DIN 24531 Standard
Stair steps are fixed into staircase structure on step sides made from flats by 2 x 2 screws M12 (please see the picture)

Cross bar spacing : 40,50,60,65,76,100,101.6,120,130mm, etc.
Bearing bars : 20*5,25*3,25*4,25*5,30*3,30*4,30*5,32*3,32*5,40*5,50*4… 75*8mm, etc.
Bearing bar spacing : 20,25,30,32.5,34.3,40,50,60,62,65mm
Steel grating stairs are available in a variety of bearing bar thicknesses,depth and spacing according to the applications and loading requirements.
They are also available in either smooth top or serrated of anti slip grating. As one of leading manufacturer and fabricator of electro forge welded steel grating in China, we supply a variety of sizes for shipment in panels or other specs.
1. material: low carbon steel,mid steel or stainless steel;
2. Surface treatment: nature, painting or hot dip galvanized;
3. Specification of steel grating: plain type (may be omitted in the symbol of steel grating), serrated type and I-shape type;
4. Tolerance of hot dip galvanized steel grating: the allowed deviation of length is +0/-5mm, while the allowed deviation of width is +/-5 mm; the non-perpendicularity of bearing bar is allowed no more than 10% of width of bearing bar; cross bar surface should not surpass bearing bar surface 1mm, beginning & end of cross bar should not surpass the end surfaces of two sides of grating 2mm;
5. steel grating application: used in flooring, catwalk, mezzanines/decking, stair tread, fencing, ramp, dock, trench cover, drainage pit cover, maintenance platform, pedestrian/crowded pedestrian, factory, workshop, motor rooms, trolley channel, heavy loading area, boiler equipment and heavy equipment area, office buildings, apartments, train stations, department stores, hospitals,amusement parks,etc..

Step dimensions can be manufactured due to Customer requirements. Step grating may be made with different agreed mesh size and type of upper side (smooth or with anti-slip arrangement). Stair steps also can be manufactured with another size of bearing rod.
Any arrangements like cut outs in treading section are not recommended . Spacings between holes for fixing screws may be arranged according to Customer requirement. Stair steps can be supplied in wide variety of lengths.
