Online Monitoring Device for Switching Electrical Equipment
Product Overview:
In order to identify the running defects of the switching devices early and avoid major losses caused by accidents, Ruitong Electrical and Xi'an Jiaotong University jointly developed and designed the Online Monitoring Device for Switching Electrical Equipment (RT-OMD/SD), which is mainly composed of the special sensor , signal transmission and processing unit, communication network and background software.The special sensor monitors the temperature, mechanical characteristics and insulation status, and converts physical signals into electrical signals; the signal transmission and processing unit receives the transmitted electrical signals and transmits them to the background through the communication network; after receiving the signals, the background software conducts fault diagnosis and life prediction to the switching devices with fault diagnosis expert system.

Mechanical Characteristics
Monitors the closing coil current (3 channels), the displacement curve (1 channel), the energy storage motor voltage and current curve (2 channels), and the status information of switching on, switching off and energy storage.
