COBRA series DC servo system is MOTEC’s latest intelligent servo system features integrated servo drive, motion controller and optional PLC function. It can be easily controlled by PC, Touch Panel, PLC or third party controllers via various control&communication mode. Cobra DC servo drive features very compact size and very high power density. COBRA DC servo drive offers single axis version and dual-axis version for customer’s choice.

Serial Magnetic Encoder is a quadrature encoder developed by MOTEC(China) based onRS485 communication protocol with 2.5MBPS data transfer rate and 16384 pulse per turnresolution。It has been widely accepted because of its simple connection, high reliability andhigh resolution features. The length of motors with serial magnetic encoder is also shorter than those with other feedback options.
All MOTEC DC servo motors can be ordered with resolver as feedback device. The working temperature of standard motors is -20℃ to 40℃ but motors with -40℃~55℃ working temperature are available for order. MOTEC DC servo motors are equipped with aviation connectors which enable MOTEC DC servo motors to be able to work in very harsh natural environment.
Absolute encoder(17bits) is available for MOTEC DC servo motors and the 17bits encoder can memorize position of a motor when it lose its power supply (up to 215). There is a battery in the encoder cable and it needs to be replaced periodically.
