1.Definition of blackbody
An object that can absorb all external radiation energy and radiate all its own energy.
2.Product Overview
The main technical indicators of black body: emissivity of black body, diameter of blackbody cavity, temperature uniformity and uncertainty of radiation temperature. Therefore, in order to ensure the product quality of black body, black body is usually designed according to temperature segmentation. Usually what we call black body is artificial black body. The emissivity of artificial black body is close to 1, but not equal to 1.
The main function of black body is to generate standard radiation at a certain temperature. Therefore, it is mainly used to calibrate various radiation thermometers, such as optical pyrometers, infrared thermometers, infrared thermal imagers, etc. in temperature measurement.
Black body is mainly used in the field of temperature measurement in industry, and the most important product is black body furnace. For the calibration and verification of radiation thermometer, the comparison method is usually adopted, that is, through a high-stability radiation source (usually a black body radiation source) and other supporting equipment, the temperature reproduced by the standard instrument is compared with the temperature reproduced by the radiation thermometer to be tested, in order to determine whether it is qualified or give a calibration result.
As a standard radiation source, the standard black body is mainly used to calibrate radiation thermometers, infrared thermometers and radiation temperature sensor detectors.
