Dual Lateral Logging Tool
SITAN STCX89-200D Constant power dual lateral logging tool is a resistivity device that uses guard electrodes that focus the surveying current at nearly right angles to the formation. SITAN STCX89-200D Constant power dual lateral logging tool measures a deep and shallow resistivity. The deep lateral-log curve measures Rt, the un-invaded zone, and shallow lateral-log measures Ri, the invaded zone. The quantitative value of Ri is used in relation to Rt and Rxo(Flushed zone resistivity) to obtain true Rt values, depth of mud filtrate invasion, general idea of formation permeability, and an estimation of movable oil.
