        Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor (MBBR) is a new and efficient biofilm reactor developed on the basis of biological contact oxidation and activated sludge process in recent years. It has the characteristics of strong load resistance, high treatment efficiency, long sludge age, less excess sludge, good nitrogen and phosphorus removal effect and no sludge bulking.
        Suspended packing, the core component of mobile bed biofilm reactor process, should have the following characteristics: large specific surface area to improve biomass; suitable for biofilm growth, short film-forming period; suitable water-air channel to facilitate film-forming and film-removal; after film-forming, the specific gravity close to water is easy to fluidize; long service life.
