EDI Module for High Purity Water Treatment Systems

The EDI Module (Electrodeionization Module) is an advanced water purification component designed for continuous production of high-purity water without chemical regeneration. What Is an EDI Module?
An EDI Module, also known as an Electrodeionization Module, is a continuous deionization device that removes dissolved ions from RO permeate water through electrical separation technology.
Unlike traditional ion exchange systems, EDI technology does not require chemical regeneration. The module uses a combination of:
Ion exchange membranes
Ion exchange resin
Electrodes
Direct current field
to continuously remove charged ions from water.
In a typical RO EDI water treatment system, RO is used as the primary purification stage to remove most dissolved salts, while the EDI module further polishes the water to achieve extremely low conductivity and high resistivity.
