Board burst tester is a newtype testing instruments for the bursting strength of corrugated boards, whichis designed in accordance with ISO2759 'Board-Determination of burstingstrength'.
Board burst tester principle:
A test piece, placed over acircular elastic diaphragm, is rigidly clamped at the periphery but free tobulge with the diaphragm. Hydraulic fluid is pumped at a constant rate, bulgingthe diaphram until the test piece rutures. The bursting strength of the testpiece is the maxium value of the applied hydraulic pressure.
