1. Characteristics
a. This apparatus consists of a spring-loaded rubber slider mounted on a pendulum arm.
b. The arm can be adjusted vertically from a rigid support column when in operation.
c. The base has three adjustable feet so that the swing of the pendulum during test moves through a truly circular path while operating directly on a road surface.
d. All bearings and working parts are enclosed where possible to protect them against wear and contamination.
