Product Description

CellMesh™(named CFDA in China) is a complete and powerful multi-hop mesh protocol with bidirectional wireless communication for control and monitoring of individual nodes. The protocol is transparent, may carry application layers such as DL/T645 and DL/T698 regulations (Chinese norm), Wireless M-Bus (European norm), MODBUS, DLMS/COSEM and KNX RF etc. Serial application data is entered on the UART port and transported automatically to the desired destination node without further interaction from any external processor. The maximum of data package is 180 byte. Modules are completely shielded and pre-certified for operation in world-wide license free bands.

CellMesh™ Network Topology

There are two types of nodes in a CellMesh™. One is the router node named as DAU(Distributed Access Unit). The other is the Gateway named as CAC(Cellular Access Center).

DAU is generally connected to end devices such as electricity meters. It takes the bidirectional data from any other node and in real-time either re-transmits and/or enter the application data on its UART. It functions as a RF router. Multiple DAUs compose the multi-hop communication link to CAC according to self-organizing network routing strategies to increase coverage range. The Maximum number of DAU nodes in one CellMesh™ is 999. Depth of network (maximum number of hops) is 7.
