Application of Aluminum Powder:
Aluminum powder has the features of Lightweight, evenly distributed, strong antioxidant capacity, high floating power, good hiding power, which has good reflective properties to light and heat. Aluminum metal powder can be used as an additive in carbonaceous refractory products (MgO-C bricks, alumina magnesia bricks), which can greatly improve the oxidation resistance of the product, thereby increasing its service life.
Active aluminum content and the value of the median diameter D50 are the main roles of aluminum powder. The higher of active aluminum content, the better of oxidation resistance. The smaller of the median diameter value, more uniform distribution, the greater of the contact area aluminum with other elements of (i.e., larger specific surface area) then the better of product oxidation resistance.
