Development of Jingduan People’s Gypsum Board Punching Equipment
Foshan Shunde Jingduan Machinery Co., Ltd began to develop gypsum board punching equipment since 2006. At that time, the main equipment used was JD25-100 gantry punch press, the main engine adopted stiffness clutch equipped with simple mechanical feeding units (rack feeder), which was the first generation machine type. And the customer’s feedback was that the machine was difficult to operate, materials couldn’t be fed correctly, and the production efficiency was low.
And then, the company conducted improvement in technology, the back and forth feeding units with ball screws controlled with the computer substituted original mechanical feeding units, and became the second generation of equipment. Thus, the production efficiency of gypsum board punching equipment was improved at some extent, but new problem appeared, because the feeding limit of the ball screw, some punching patterns couldn’t be made, for example, when the full plate was punched, the clamp couldn’t reach the stroke specified, as well as that the ball screw was affected by the gypsum powder, so that it was easy to be worn etc.
Users’ continuous requirements to the products are the power for us to develop! Jingduan people thoroughly modified the equipment, to use JDH25-100 gantry punching engine, adopted pneumatic friction clutch, for the feeding unit, we used the servo feeding unit developed by us to achieve that the front and rear were synchronous, which could greatly improve the production efficiency and the machine’s safety performance, that was the third generation of equipment. But the customer immediately proposed new problem for the equipment: The front section’s positioning shall be more convenient in production, and installation of the moulds shall be easier, can operations not enter the machine? Can service time of the mould be longer? And so on.
That promoted appearance of the fourth generation of machine type! Such type adopts JDY25-100 gantry punch press as the engine, adopts semi-close gantry structure, so that the mould is easy to assemble and disassemble, at the same time, the feeding is more stable; the pneumatic friction clutch, and safe electronic dual valve are used, the feeding unit adopts servo feeding unit developed by us to achieve that the front and rear operations were synchronous, the infrared ray probe ensures that front-end positioning of the gypsum board is quick and accurate; efficiency of single-side positioning is high. At the same time, the company improved relevant technology in punching moulds, which improved puncture quality of the gypsum board and prolonged the mould’s service life. The machine has also been equipped supporting waste collection unit, which greatly improved the automation progress. After being put into the market, the products are deeply favored by the users.
Through 10 years of continuous efforts and innovation, Foshan Shunde Jingduan Machinery Co., Ltd initiated a new field for gypsum board punching equipment, occupation rate of the products in domestic markets is 90% and above. The products are also sold to Australia, Chile of South America, Turkey, India, Laos of Southeast Asia, as well as Saudi Arabia and Iran etc.
And now, the fifth generation gypsum board punching equipment is being developed, it will be an automated intelligent production line.

2-Structure and configurations of JDY25-100 perforating machine:
A. Body of the main machine tool is welded with Q235 steel plates, semi-closed gantry structure.
The machine adopts sub-audio vibration aging to eliminate stress.
It has good rigidity, with good stability during operating.
B.The machine adopts two-stage transmission structure that the motor drives the flywheel transmission and gear linkage.
The gears and flywheel are fully closed, with good safety performance.
C.It used the dry-type friction clutch brake system,safety, stability, and durable.
D. Double pneumatic balance cylinders are used to protect the molds and reduce damage caused by the punching pins.
