Series JCTN - Concentrate Upgrading Drum Permanent Magnetic Separator

Introduction and Application:

This product is a wet magnetic separator designed to rinse and purify the magnetic minerals, i.e. to elutriate, fine separate and purify, deslime and condense the magnetic minerals according to the process requirements. It is widely used in the following four phases.

1. Separate and deslime the overflow materials by classifier after the first grinding stage.

2. Condense minerals before the second grinding stage or filtrating.

3. Magnetite deslime before entering the fine sieve / screen or anti-flotation separation.

4. The final concentration for the magnetite.

Working Principles:

The pulp is fed into the tube-type feed box. In crack feeding way, the mineral pulp can enter directly the separation area. Firstly, the magnetic materials will be magnetized, layered and absorbed onto the drum surface by the large magnetic force. Then the magnetic minerals will be taken out of the pulp by the counter-rotating drum and transported upward to separate minerals from water and increase the density of minerals. Meanwhile, the magnetic minerals on the drum surface will do the mechanical movement, magnetic aggregation-decentralization- magnetic aggregation again, affected by the inner stirring apparatus force. And the Si, S and P will be removed from the magnetic minerals by the washing water to upgrade the concentrate. The magnetic minerals will be collected by the double-layer scrapers to be the final concentrates, while the non-magnetic minerals will be the tailings or middlings and discharged from the bottom of tank.

Major Technical Features:

1. Adopt the tube feeding device to achieve evenly feeding mineral through the overflow plate overflowing.

2. The magnetic system is designed with large wrap angle 240~270° and multi poles. The structure can be transformed to achieve the reasonable beneficiation index according to the mineral properties and mineral processing index.

3. It’s equipped with magnetic field stirring apparatus inside the drum.

4. With the downstream feeding way, the counter-rotating drum and a multi-stage rinsing water design (open and close alternatively depending on the circumstances)

5. Adopt polyurethane scrapers to discharge minerals in two stages to ensure clean discharge.

6. Adopt frequency conversion in the transmission system.

Standard export package in wooden cases, standard container, flat rack container or pack according to the requirements of customers.
