I. Features

It is an equipment for internal grinding and dressing of steel tubes, and it mainly used for grinding and dressing internal surface defects in various steel tubes. Besides, it may also be used for dressing and renovating surfaces of used steel tubes and for removing rust from seamless steel tubes and welded pipes.

II. Main technical parameters

1. Grinding wheel specifications:

Outer diameter: Φ(140~350)mm × inner diameter Φ38~50mm × thickness 30~100mm, and particle size: 10#-36# or flap wheel.

2. Ground steel tube length: :5~14m

3. Ground steel tube diameter: :Φ219~1,420mm

4. Single-arm length of grinding head: 6.5~7.5m

5. Grinding pressure of grinding head and wheel on internal grinding machine for light-duty steel tubes is controlled by spring. Lifting of grinding head and wheel is electrically controlled by lift.

6. Grinding pressure of grinding head and wheel on internal grinding machine for heavy-duty steel tubes is controlled by air-pressure PLC, while lifting of grinding head and wheel is electrically controlled by lift.

7. This equipment falls into three types: heavy duty, medium duty and light duty.

1) In heavy-duty internal grinding machine, key components are provided with wheel with long grinding rod, and outer diameter of its spindle is φ168mm;

2) In medium-duty internal grinding machine, key components are provided with wheel with long grinding rod, and outer diameter of its spindle is φ140mm;

3) In light-duty internal grinding machine, key components are provided with wheel with long grinding rod, and outer diameter of its spindle is φ86mm;

8. Dry or wet centrifugal scrubber may be provided as required by customer.
