MHST-A is medium wall heat shrinkable tubing with hot melt adhesive, having properties of excellent insulating, environmental sealing, and resistant to impact and abrasion. It is designed for applications to seal and protect electrical splices, cable terminations and joints where electrical insulation and water proof are required. 3:1 shrink ratio allows it easily fit over irregular shape and large connectors.

1. What is Heat Shrink tube?
Heat Shrink Tubing is a tube that contracts when warmed. When heat is applied to heat shrink tubing, the adhesive material inside of the tube is activated. The material then secures it to the wire or cable. This allows the wire or cable and the heat shrink tube to become one unified product.
2. How do i shrink the tube?
There are various ways to shrink the tube but the most common is with a hot air gun. Apply the heat evenly around the tube working either from the middle out or from one end to the other until full recovery is achieved.
