After a production agreement reached by Weichai and world No.1 marine diesel engine manufacturer---Germany-based MAN AG, Weichai-MAN V32/40 series marine diesel engines were introduced to China. Adopting the integral rigid design, the series achieve high security. The cylinder units, which can be easily installed and taken apart, are integrally installed. Adopting the state-of-art turbocharger and dual inter-cooler from MAN AG, this series products pride themselves in their intake performance. What's more, SaCosOne security control system from MAN AG fully ensures its reliability. Highly powerful and economic, engines used for main propulsion consist of 12, 14, 16 or 18 cylinders with a rotation speed of 750r/min and power coverage of 6,000-9,000kW (min. fuel oil consumption: 181g/kWh; lub oil consumption <0.5g/kWh).

 

Weichai-Man V32/40 series have passed the International Association Classification Society Certificates of CCS, ZY, ABS, GL, BV, DNV , RS and  LR.

Product Application

 With the capability of burning MGO, MDO and HFO, this series of engines are well adapted to various working conditions. It is mainly used as the main and auxiliary engines for ships.
