 After a production agreement reached by Weichai and world No.1 marine diesel engine manufacturer---Germany-based MAN AG, Weichai-MAN L27/38 series marine diesel engines were introduced to China. Adopting the integral rigid design, the series achieve high security. Its cylinder units, which can be easily installed and taken apart, are integrally installed. Adopting the state-of-art turbocharger and dual inter-cooler from MAN AG, this series products pride themselves in their intake performance. What's more, its AT2000 security control system from MAN AG fully ensures its reliability. With the capability of burning MGO, MDO and HFO,  Highly powerful and economic, engines used for main propulsion consist of 6, 7, 8 or 9 cylinders with a rotation speed of 800r/min and power coverage of 2,040-3,285kW (min. fuel oil consumption: 184g/kWh; lub oil consumption <0.8g/kWh).

 

Weichai-Man L27/38 series have passed the International Association Classification Society Certificates of CCS, ZY, ABS, GL, BV, DNV , RS and  LR.
