Coating Paint Thickness Meter with F/NF ProbesBrief Description
This professional Coating Thickness Meter is a compact and handy gauge designed for non-destructive, fast and precise coating thickness measurement with measuring range 0 ~ 1250 μm / 0 ~ 50 mil. It works either on the magnetic induction principle or the eddy current principle, depending on the type of sensor probe selected (Fe or No Fe). With the two types of probe equipped, only one gauge is required to measure non-magnetic coatings on a magnetic substrate (ferrous, Fe) or non-magnetic coating on non-magnetic substrate (non-ferrous, NFe).
It's usage of Microcomputer LSI circuit advanced microprocessor technology guarantees the highest level of accuracy with fast measuring time. Additionally, you can also choose to measure by single or continuous mode. Cable and software CD are optional for connection and work with PC.
This professional equipment is ideal for manufactures and their customers, for offices and specialists, for paint shops and electroplaters, for chemical, automobile, shipbuilding and aircraft industries and for light and heavy engineering. It is also suitable for laboratory, workshop, and outdoor use.

Coating thickness gauge with two types of probe equipped, Fe & NFe
- Fe type is used for measuring non-magnetic coatings on ferromagnetic substrates, e.g. paint, porcelain, enamel, plastic, rubber or electroplated coating of nonferrous metal like nickel-chromium, anticorrosive coating in chemical industry.
- NFe type is used for measuring electrically non-conductive coatings on non-ferrous metals, e.g. paint, plastic coating and anodic oxide film on aircraft, car, home appliances, Alumimium alloy door and window and stainless steel.
- Meets the standard of both ISO-2178 and ISO-2360 as well as DIN, ASTM and BS
- Wide measuring range (0 ~ 1250 μm / 0 ~ 50 mil) and high precision
- Automatic substrate recognition for unknown samples
- Provides Single & Continuousmeasurement mode with Metric/Imperial conversion
