J3 used to select the CH376 chip operating voltage, short pin connected to the 1-2 pin for the 5V voltage, the short pin connected to the 2-3 pin for the 3.3V voltage. The default is 5V voltage, but when the single chip operating voltage is equal to or less than 3.3V, you can choose 3.3V voltage for CH376. If the J1 is short, J5 off, J6 off, so 8 bit parallel;

If J1 is disconnected, J5 is disconnected, J6 is disconnected, then it is an asynchronous serial port.
