The impeller axis of the WSD is aligned perpendicular to the tube axis.
There is no deflection of the rotation by a worm gear to the register. Extremely low starting values can be achieved due to the minimal friction.Thanks to its design advantages, the Woltmann meter type WSD is an ideal choice especially with fluctuating flow rates.
The hydrodynamic optimized impeller is driven reliably even at low flow rates. Also under the highest loads it has enough reserve to detect even flow rate peaks. The specially enhanced bearing of the impeller causes low friction and guarantees a long service lifetime of the meter.
The WSD is optimally prepared for remote reading. Retrofitting of electronic communication modules (EDC radio, EDC M-Bus, EDC pulse) and conventional Reed sensors is possible at any time and without violating the calibration seal.
