Hollow-Core of JWT began the production of hollow-core slabs on 1999 using the Elematic extrusion system.
Hollow core slabs are precast, prestressed concrete elements that are generally used for flooring. Some of their advantages are as follows: long spans, no propping; flexible in design; fast construction; light weight structures.
The principle benefits of precast hollow core slabs are their speed of installation and their design versatility making them suitable for use in all construction types and configurations.
What is produce process of the machine?
Using an extruded process, hollow core plank (or hollow core slab) is a plant-manufactured prestressed concrete slab with continuous cores, or voids, which considerably reduces weight (up to 50% compared with a poured-in-place flat slab) and cost.
The Universal Extruder is the heart of our hollowcore production system. Its unique design ensures that production is low cost, extremely reliable and the finished hollowcore is of the highest quality. The functional design means it very easy to use, set-up and maintain.
What kind of raw materials may be used?
1. Cement, small stones, sand etc.
2. Low carbon steel wire (dia.1.6-4 mm ) for strengthening.
