Part One : General Description and usuage of the wet type magnetic separator
Magnetic Separator is widely used in mineral processing, coal washing and chemical industry, for sorting the wet particle size of 6-10mm. The strong magnetic minerals and magnetic minerals are divided into two kinds of material: non-magnetic material and megnetic material. Magnetic separator is suitable for wet magnetic separation of materials such as magnetite, calcined ore, etc. and it can remove the iron in the coal, non-metal and construction industries.
Part Two : Working Principle
When the pulp flows to the magnetic separator via inlet, the mineral granules spread. As a result of the magnetic force, the magnetic minerals concentrate as a lump or a chain. This lump or chain is then absorbed on the roller surface owing to the magnetic force. When the magnetic lump or chain rotates with the roller, gangues and other non-magnetic minerals falls off from the lump or chain and are then discharged from outlet. The lump or chain left at the wall of the roller is ore concentrate.
