1 Product Overview
The marine dedicated seawater electrolysis chlorine generation system is a special on-site disinfection and anti-fouling equipment developed for offshore platforms, marine engineering and ship water systems. Different from traditional salt-based electrolysis equipment, this system directly utilizes natural raw seawater for electrolytic reaction, realizing zero manual chemical addition. It continuously generates low-concentration high-activity sodium hypochlorite disinfectant, which is mainly used for sterilization, algae removal and marine organism inhibition of marine circulating cooling water. The whole machine adopts marine anti-corrosion and shock-resistant design, resisting seawater salt spray corrosion and harsh wave vibration working conditions. 2 Technical Principle
This system adopts direct seawater electrolysis low-frequency constant-current technology, utilizing natural sodium chloride contained in seawater as the raw material. After precision filtration to remove suspended sediments and marine impurities, raw seawater is stably delivered into special seawater electrolytic cells. Under stable DC electric field, directional electrochemical reaction occurs: chloride ions in seawater are oxidized to generate chlorine gas, which instantly reacts with water to form high-activity sodium hypochlorite solution. The generated disinfectant is directly dosed into the marine circulating water pipeline to inhibit microbial and barnacle reproduction. By intelligently adjusting current density and water flow rate, the system maintains stable residual chlorine concentration, realizing continuous and efficient anti-fouling and disinfection. Electrolysis by-products are safe and environmentally friendly without secondary pollution to the marine environment.
