The MG series DC-DC converters cover a power range of 1.5 - 80W. They are small in size and have high power density. Compared with some other brands, they have an advantage in size, which can save more space for you. There are multiple output voltages to choose from, and they have the dual-output function. They use standard pins, which are easy to install. The MG series also has models with a 4:1 wide input voltage range. When your various applications require modules with different input voltage ranges, it is an ideal choice for you. During use, the surface-mounted components in the DC-DC converter will be affected by the mechanical stress caused by the change of working temperature, which will lead to solder joint fatigue and then cracks. The MG series adopts a new soldering technology and uses flexible potting materials at the same time, which greatly reduces the stress in the surface-mounted components. The products have higher reliability and longer lifespan, with a warranty period of 10 years. You can use MG at full load in the temperature range of -40℃ to 85℃. At the same time, MG has a remote control function (6 to 80W) and many other functions. The isolation voltage reaches DC1500V, which is suitable for many communication, control and measurement devices.

Design Features


 Ultra-wide voltage DC6 - 60V input: One component covers 12V/24V/48V busbars, significantly reducing the number of customer stock-keeping unit models.

High surge tolerance: Can withstand the 76V/100ms transient high voltage generated by relay/inductor switching.

Ultra-small package in line with industrial standards: MGXS1R5 adopts SIP6 (17×12×8.5 mm), and MGXS6 adopts SIP8 (22×12×9.5 mm).

No built-in aluminum electrolytic capacitors or tantalum electrolytic capacitors (All-solid-state long-life design, resistant to high temperature/sulfuration).
Control Function MGXS6 has a built-in Remote ON/OFF (Positive logic: L=ON, H=OFF)

Optional output voltage fine-tuning (Y2 suffix): +10% / -5% adjustment can be achieved by an external resistor.
Protection Function Overcurrent protection (OCP) > 105% of the rated value, automatic recovery in Hiccup Mode.
