1 Product Overview

The high concentration sodium hypochlorite generator for industrial wastewater is an on-site electrolysis disinfection equipment specially designed for high organic load industrial wastewater. Using refined salt and water as raw materials, the system produces high-strength sodium hypochlorite solution through electrochemical reaction. Different from conventional low-concentration disinfection devices, this unit generates NaClO with higher available chlorine content, which is suitable for advanced treatment of printing & dyeing wastewater, chemical wastewater and manufacturing wastewater. Real-time preparation eliminates disinfectant decomposition problems during storage. With anti-corrosion structure and 24-hour continuous running capacity, it has become the preferred disinfection solution for industrial wastewater treatment projects worldwide.

2 Technical Principle

This equipment adopts intensified constant-current brine electrolysis technology. Salt is dissolved into dilute brine and filtered to remove impurities before entering the electrolytic cell. Under stable DC power supply, electrochemical reactions occur inside the titanium electrolyzer. Chloride ions are oxidized to chlorine gas at the anode; hydrogen and hydroxide ions are generated at the cathode. Chlorine immediately reacts with hydroxide to form high-concentration sodium hypochlorite. Optimized electrode structure improves brine conversion efficiency. By controlling flow velocity and electrolysis temperature, stable high-strength disinfectant output is achieved. Hydrogen by-product is diluted and safely vented to guarantee intrinsic safety of the whole system.
