Application Scope: Paper industry, wire cutting in mechanical processing, drying and baking. It is supporting equipment for vacuum dewatering in the wet end (vacuum system) of paper machines in modern light industry papermaking sector, and applicable to other relevant working conditions.
Working Principle:
This separator is mainly matched with vacuum dewatering systems in the papermaking industry. During paper forming, gas and liquid from the wet end equipment including vacuum suction boxes, vacuum transfer rolls, vacuum presses and felt vacuum rolls are usually discharged together by vacuum pumps. To reduce the power consumption of vacuum pumps for liquid drainage, extend the service life of vacuum pumps and lower environmental pollution, this equipment can realize separate discharge of gas and liquid.
This product is generally installed upstream and matched with liquid ring vacuum pumps or Nash pumps. Gas and liquid delivered from the wet end are separated by the cyclone separation unit. The gas is extracted by the vacuum pump, while the liquid is discharged by the FPB filtrate pump mounted at the bottom of the separator and can be recycled after collection.
Gas enters the separator tangentially from the inlet. Driven by airflow inertia, the gas rotates along the inner wall of the cylinder to generate centrifugal force. Flow guide plates are installed inside to guide the swirling airflow downward along the cylinder. Water droplets entrained in the fluid gather on the cylinder wall under centrifugal force and gravity, flow down into the bottom water storage tank, and are discharged by the filtrate pump. After swirling downward, the gas rises to the outlet at the top of the cylinder under the negative suction of the vacuum pump. As the airflow slows down during upward movement, water vapor condenses into droplets and falls back to the water collection tank. A wire mesh demister can be fitted at the top outlet to intercept and collect droplets once again.
