Working Principle:
Vacuum pump gas-water separator (also known as gas-liquid separator) is applied to working conditions where the extracted gas contains a large amount of liquid water or other liquids. It separates and discharges liquids to prevent them from entering and damaging the vacuum pump. Primarily used to remove moisture from gas, this equipment improves the operating efficiency and service life of vacuum pumps. Water ring vacuum pumps are widely used in industrial production and laboratories, and a gas-water separator is essential in many operating scenarios to optimize pump performance.
The separator is mainly composed of an inner tube and an outer tube. It separates substances by utilizing the difference in resistance borne by gas molecules at varying flow velocities. Gas enters tangentially from the lower inlet. The high-speed rotating airflow generates centrifugal force to separate solid particles and liquid droplets. Then fine water droplets and impurities are further filtered out by multi-layer stainless steel separation cylinders or metal foam. The treated gas is discharged from the lower outlet. The separated liquid is manually drained via a ball valve. The stainless steel separation cylinders and metal foam are reusable after cleaning.
It achieves rapid gas-liquid separation, effectively boosting the efficiency and extending the service life of vacuum pumps.
