1. Product Overview
Channel steel, also named U channel, is hot rolled long structural steel with U-shaped groove cross-section, composed of vertical web and two flanges with uniform inner slope. It delivers outstanding bending resistance and lateral pressure bearing capacity, moderate self-weight and excellent performance for welding, riveting and bolt assembly. As core load-bearing profile widely used in steel construction, equipment bases, vehicle chassis and support frames, it is hot rolled from carbon and low alloy steel billets (stainless steel excluded), suitable for indoor and outdoor light & heavy load projects.

Chemical Composition: Strict control of C, Si, Mn, S, P; low content of harmful impurities sulfur & phosphorus to avoid cracking during welding & hot working
Surface Appearance: Free of lamination, scabs, cracks and pits; uniform inner flange slope without edge collapse or excessive twist
NDT Inspection: UT ultrasonic testing available for large-size heavy-load channels to eliminate internal looseness & slag inclusion
Machinability: Support saw cutting, drilling, beveling, bending, welding & riveting without pre-annealing

Export dedicated package: Wrapped with anti-rust kraft paper inside, fully covered by moisture-proof PE film, fixed on fumigated solid wood pallets to prevent seawater corrosion and transport collision
7.2 Delivery Lead Time
Standard in-stock hot rolled black channel steel: Shipment within 5–7 daysGalvanized processing, non-standard custom length & large size 40# series: 7–15 days
7.3 Shipping Ports
Tianjin Port and Qingdao Port, supporting full container 40GP/40HC and LCL shipments. Complete export documents supplied: Material Test Certificate, English third-party inspection reports (SGS/BV), Packing List, Commercial Invoice; FTA Certificate of Origin can be issued.
7.4 Payment Terms
30% TT advance payment, balance settled before shipment. Letter of Credit (LC) is not acceptable.Minimum order quantity: 1 ton, mixed loading of multiple sizes & grades supported.
