Explosion-proof board is a fire-resistant and explosion-proof material composed of a reinforced fiber cement board with a galvanized steel material pressed on its surface. It is mainly used in various systems such as explosion-proof partition walls, explosion-proof ceilings, explosion-proof smoke exhaust ducts, cable pipes, explosion-proof cable protection, explosion-proof doors, and steel structure explosion protection.
The lightness, strength, impact resistance, blast resistance, durability, and special fire protection of the explosion-proof board enable firefighters to avoid a fire as much as possible and ensure the safety of lives and property in society. It is used in various industries around the world, including power stations, nuclear power plants, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, drilling platforms, warehouses, airports, railways, and subway facilities.
Characteristics of the explosion-proof board
1. Flame retardancy (a 4-hour continuous combustion test), explosion resistance, and impact resistance
2. Moisture and fire resistance, earthquake resistance, light weight, corrosion resistance, and large format
3. Weather resistance (does not change with temperature variations), high resistance, sound absorption, and frost resistance
Installation and fixation of the explosion-proof board
(1) Cut and drill holes in the board according to the design drawings and actual construction conditions. If necessary, make chamfers on-site. Both long sides of the explosion-proof board have been chamfered, but when the wall is higher than 2400mm, the short side of the horizontal joint of the explosion-proof board must be chamfered on-site to better handle the joint.
(2) Mark the fixing points of self-tapping screws on the explosion-proof board surface and pre-drill concave holes (the hole diameter is 1mm - 2mm larger than the self-tapping screw head, and the hole depth is 1mm - 2mm). The self-tapping screws are 15mm away from the board edge and 50mm away from the board corner, and the spacing between self-tapping screws is 200mm - 250
