CCO Wear Plate (Chromium Carbide Overlay Wear Plate) – Maximum Protection for High-Abrasion Environments

CCO Wear Plate is a composite material consisting of a mild steel base plate and a hardfacing chromium carbide alloy layer deposited by automatic open-arc or submerged-arc welding. The chromium carbide hard particles (Cr7C3) formed during the welding process have a microhardness of up to HV1800, delivering exceptional abrasion resistance at a fraction of the cost of solid wear-resistant alloy plates-2.

How it works: The hardfacing layer contains a high volume of chromium carbide particles (Cr7C3) that act as microscopic armor against abrasive materials. Meanwhile, the mild steel base provides toughness and impact resistance. This combination delivers 2.5x longer wear life than imported AR400 and 3–5x longer than standard domestic wear plates under identical abrasive conditions-2.

Typical applications: Mining chutes, truck bed liners, excavator buckets, cement plant cyclones, steel plant hoppers, coal handling systems, and any equipment handling abrasive materials (ore, coal, sand, cement, limestone).

Each batch includes EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate with hardness test results and chemical composition of hardfacing layer. Third-party inspection (SGS, BV, TUV) supported. MOQ: 100 KGS (custom size), trial orders welcome.
