Our DIN 17175 seamless heat-resistant steel tubes are manufactured to the German standard for boiler, superheater, and high temperature service. These tubes offer excellent creep strength and oxidation resistance at elevated temperatures up to 600°C.
⚠️ Important Note: DIN 17175 has been withdrawn and replaced by EN 10216-2. We supply this standard for legacy replacement, maintenance, and retrofit projects where the old German standard is still specified .

Cold Drawing Process for Heat-Resistant Tubes:
Hot rolled tubes are pickled to remove scale
Cold drawing precisely reduces the diameter
Heat treatment – Normalized (carbon grades) / Normalized + Tempered (alloy grades)
Straightening – ensures straightness for boiler installation
Precision cutting – to exact customer length
100% NDT and hydrostatic testing – guarantees integrity
15Mo3 Limitation – Graphitization
⚠️ Important: 15Mo3 has a tendency toward graphitization during long-term operation at high temperatures. Its operating temperature should be controlled below 510°C to prevent this phenomenon. The addition of aluminum during smelting should be limited to control and delay the graphitization process .
