Roots Blower Introduction
Roots blower, also known as roots fan, is a type of positive displacement rotary air equipment widely used for gas conveying, pressurization and aeration. It consists of a pair of intermeshing double-lobe or three-lobe rotors rotating synchronously inside a casing, without internal compression during operation.
Core Working Principle
Two rotors rotate in opposite directions driven by gears. Gas is continuously sucked into the cavity between the rotor and the shell, then pushed to the exhaust outlet. The air output remains stable regardless of slight pressure changes, delivering constant volume airflow.
