Steel Sheet Pile Product Specification
1. Product Overview
Steel Sheet Pile is a profiled construction steel with interlocking latch joints. Adjacent piles engage via locks to form continuous watertight retaining walls, integrating functions of soil retaining, water sealing, anti-seepage and foundation shoring. Mainly divided into Hot Rolled Steel Sheet Pile (Larssen Pile) and Cold Formed Steel Sheet Pile. Widely applied for temporary or permanent retaining works in foundation pits, cofferdams, hydraulic projects and port construction; extractable after construction for repeated reuse.

2. Product Classification by Forming Process & Section
2.1 Hot Rolled Steel Sheet Pile (Larssen Sheet Pile, Main Export Grade)
Advantages: Dense metallurgical structure, high precision interlocks, excellent bending resistance and high water pressure resistance, suitable for hard soil penetration, deep-water cofferdam, deep foundation pit and permanent hydraulic structures; reusable for more than 20 cycles.
U-Type Sheet Pile (Most Widely Used)Common models: No.4, No.5, No.6 Larssen (SP-IV, SP-V, SP-VL); width 400/500/600mm, web thickness 9.5~18mm. Ideal for 5~15m conventional foundation pits, river cofferdams and building foundation support.
Z-Type Sheet Pile (High Load & Large Span)WRZ series (WRZ34-675, WRZ38-675) with high section modulus and outstanding flexural capacity, applied in quay wall, dry dock, ultra-deep foundation pit and cross-sea cofferdam, high demand in European & American projects.
Flat Web Sheet Pile (Thin Lock Profile)Light self-weight with straight profile, mainly for shallow trench excavation and municipal pipeline shoring.
2.2 Cold Formed Steel Sheet Pile
Roll-formed from steel strip under ambient temperature, cost-effective with flexible specifications, thickness ranging 6~12mm. For shallow foundation pit and temporary slope protection, lower bearing capacity compared with hot rolled items.

All raw materials adopt standard hot rolled steel blooms with mill test certificate; chemical & mechanical inspection report attached upon delivery.

Thickness: Cold formed:6~12mm; Hot rolled:9.5mm,12mm,13mm,15.5mm,18mm;
Unit Weight: Hot rolled U-type:39~76kg/m; Hot rolled Z-type:68~135kg/m; Cold formed:25~50kg/m;
Interlock Design: Male-female interlocking lock; sealant filler optional for superior water tightness under high hydraulic pressure.
5. Core Product Features
Excellent Water Sealing: Tight interlock joint; sealing accessory optional to achieve zero leakage under high water head for river & seawater cofferdam;
Reusable & Recyclable: Pulled out by vibratory hammer after construction, reusable over 15 times after derusting to cut project cost remarkably;
Fast Installation: Driven by vibratory or hydraulic hammer, less bulk earthwork, short construction period and small occupation area;
Flexible Layout: Assembled into circular, rectangular or irregular closed cofferdam to adapt river channel, foundation pit and various slope conditions;
Custom Anti-Corrosion Treatment: Black finish as standard; customized paint, cold zinc spray or hot-dip galvanizing for extended outdoor service life over 15 years.

Municipal & Building Construction: Deep foundation pit shoring for high-rise buildings, underground parking, metro trench and pipeline excavation;

Emergency Rescue: Dyke breach blocking and emergency reinforcement for collapsed foundation pit.
7. Packing, Inspection & Export Supply Terms
Packing: Bundled with steel strips, edge protection; shipped by full container (20GP/40GP) or bulk vessel;
Factory Inspection: Dimension tolerance, tensile test, impact test and random chemical composition inspection; Mill Test Certificate & inspection document provided;
Payment Term: 30% TT in advance, balance 70% TT against copy of Bill of Lading, L/C unavailable.
