20×4/16×8 LCD Driver Special Chip with Key Scanning TM1730
I. Feature Description
TM1730 is a memory-mapped and multi-functional LCD driver special chip with 80-point mode (20SEG×4COM) or 128-point mode (16SEG×8COM), and it comes with a key scanning matrix circuit of 20×1 or 16×1 matrix. The software configuration features of TM1730 make it suitable for a variety of LCD application scenarios, including LCD modules and display subsystems. There is only a 2-wire I2C communication method for the pins used to connect the main controller and TM1730. This product has excellent performance and reliable quality.
II. Functional Features

- In the 20×4 display mode, the circuit has 20SEG and 4COM, 1/3 Bias, 1/4 Duty
- In the 16×8 display mode, the circuit has 16SEG and 8COM, 1/4 Bias, 1/8 Duty
* Key scanning function
- 20×1 matrix scanning circuit in 20×4 display mode
- 16×1 matrix scanning circuit in 16×8 display mode
* Automatic increment of R/W address
* Optional hardware interrupt
* Built-in 16ⅹ8-bit display data register
* I2C communication interface
