The BECKHOFF KL1859 is a compact high-density Bus Terminal module integrating 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs within a single terminal housing. Designed for industrial automation and PLC applications, it enables efficient field signal acquisition and actuator control while minimizing cabinet space requirements.
The module operates with 24V DC signals and includes a typical 3 ms input filter to suppress mechanical switch bouncing, ensuring stable and reliable signal processing. Each channel is equipped with LED indicators for convenient monitoring and diagnostics during operation and maintenance.
KL1859 features short-circuit-proof and reverse-polarity-protected outputs with up to 0.5A output current per channel, making it suitable for controlling relays, indicators, solenoids, and other industrial loads. The slim 12 mm DIN rail housing allows high-density installations in automation cabinets.
