High Pressure Boiler Tube
High pressure boiler tubes are core seamless steel pipes used for high-pressure and ultra-high pressure power station boilers, complying with GB/T 5310-2023. They are applied in working conditions above 9.8MPa and 450–650℃, mainly used for superheaters, reheaters, main steam pipes and other components.
1. Working Conditions & Performance Requirements
Working pressure: ≥9.8MPa, subcritical and supercritical up to 17–31MPa
Working temperature: 450–650℃, ultra-supercritical 580–620℃
Core properties: High-temperature lasting strength, creep resistance, oxidation corrosion resistance, stable microstructure
2. Common Materials
20G: Below 480℃, conventional medium & high pressure heating surface
15CrMoG: Below 540℃, high-temperature pipelines and superheaters
12Cr1MoVG: 540–570℃, core parts of subcritical boilers
P91 (10Cr9MoW2VNb): 580–600℃, supercritical & ultra-supercritical units

4. Size Range
Hot rolled tube: OD 22–530mm, WT 2.0–70mm
Cold drawn tube: OD 10–159mm, WT 1.5–12mm
Delivery condition: Normalizing and tempering heat treatment

Hydrostatic test for each pipe
Non-destructive testing: UT, MT, ET
Mechanical property test
Metallographic structure inspection
6. Difference from Medium & Low Pressure Boiler Tube
High pressure: GB/T 5310, high pressure & high temperature, strict inspection
Medium & low pressure: GB/T 3087, low pressure & normal temperature
7. Foreign Trade Terms
Material certificate: EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2
Packing: Anti-rust oil, woven bag or wooden case
