The most severely corroded parts of oil storage tanks are the tank top, the part of the tank wall where the oil level moves up and down, and the edge of the tank bottom. For the protection of above-ground steel oil storage tanks, targeted anti-corrosion measures should be taken according to the corrosion characteristics and severity of different parts. While preventing corrosion, electrostatic conduction technical treatment must also be carried out.
Yike Company uses a special p-phenylene polyester resin double-layer lining for the internal transformation of oil tanks. It can not only well address the problem that the original epoxy resin cannot resist polar solvents such as alcohols because the hydroxyl groups of its amine curing agent remain in the tank body, but also solve the problem that ordinary bisphenol A vinyl ester resin cannot resist gasoline containing alcohol due to its low cross-linking density. Moreover, the chemical structure of p-phenylene resin is a para-structure, and its unique steric hindrance effect prevents the penetration of small molecules such as ethanol and methanol, thus providing excellent anti-corrosion performance.
System technical features and advantages:
1. There is no need to move the existing oil tank. It can be fabricated and installed in the steel tank in use without damaging the surrounding area and equipment;
2. The on-site fabricated FF-type double-layer tank has a complete double-layer and interlayer structure;
3. The newly formed FF-type double-layer tank provides continuous leakage detection between the new inner and outer walls;
4. All performance indicators are consistent with those of the finished FF-type double-layer tank;
5. It can be applied to all known oil products, including oil products containing alcohol;
6. It meets the requirements of relevant national standards, industry standards, and environmental protection regulations.
