Precision Steel Tube – Detailed Product Description
1. Product Definition
Precision steel tubes are high-dimensional-tolerance and high-surface-finish seamless steel pipes manufactured by Cold Drawing or Cold Rolling process. There is no oxide layer on the inner and outer walls, with dimensional tolerance up to ±0.05mm and surface roughness Ra≤0.8μm, far superior to ordinary seamless steel tubes.
2. Main Materials & Chemical Composition
Common grades available with customized options:
Carbon Steel
10# / 20#: Good toughness and weldability, widely used for hydraulic cylinders and general mechanical structures.
35# / 45#: High structural strength (Tensile strength ≥ 600MPa), suitable for shafts, gears and high-strength structural parts.
Alloy Steel
40Cr / 42CrMo: Excellent wear resistance and impact resistance with stable quenching and tempering performance; applied to high-pressure equipment, automobile transmission shafts and mold parts.
16Mn (Q345B): Low-alloy high-strength steel, used for engineering machinery and pressure vessels.

Surface Finish: Inner wall roughness Ra≤0.4μm–0.8μm (mirror level)
Delivery Condition: Annealed, Bright Cold Finished

Pipe Billet → Hot Rolling Piercing → Pickling → Cold Drawing / Cold Rolling → Vacuum Annealing → Sizing & Straightening → Flaw Detection → Inspection → Packaging & Warehousing
8. Packaging & Delivery
Packing: Soaked with anti-rust oil; bundled 50–100 pieces per bundle or packed in wooden cases to avoid collision and rust.
Delivery Time: 5–7 working days for regular specifications; negotiable for special sizes.
Shipping Port: Tianjin Port, Qingdao Port (FOB / CIF terms acceptable)
Quality Certificate: Mill Test Certificate (MTC), dimension inspection report, mechanical property report and non-destructive testing report can be provided.
