Hot-Dip Galvanized Steel Pipe - Product Detailed Description
1. Product Overview
Hot-dip galvanized steel pipe (HDG/GI Pipe) adopts high-quality low-carbon steel such as Q195, Q215, Q235 and Q355 as raw materials. After forming and welding or seamless rolling, it is processed by hot-dip galvanizing technology. A dense, uniform and metallurgically bonded zinc coating is formed on both inner and outer surfaces.
With outstanding anti-corrosion performance, high durability, structural stability and cost-effectiveness, this product is widely used in construction, municipal engineering, fire protection, water supply, agriculture, low-pressure fluid delivery and steel structure projects. It is a mainstream anti-rust steel pipe for global export markets.
2. Production Process
Raw material cutting and forming → ERW high-frequency welding / seamless processing → surface pickling and cleaning → flux treatment → drying → high-temperature hot-dip galvanizing at 440-460℃ → cooling and passivation → surface inspection → coding and marking → standardized packaging.
Strict surface pre-treatment ensures strong adhesion of the zinc layer. The integrated alloy coating effectively isolates oxygen and moisture to achieve long-term anti-corrosion protection.

Small size pipes: Bundled with galvanized steel strips, covered with waterproof film, plastic end caps for protection.
Large size pipes: Reinforced bundling with anti-collision protection; fumigated pallet packaging optional.
Shipping: Suitable for 20GP/40GP/40HQ container and bulk cargo shipment.
Delivery Cycle: 5-7 working days.
