All Ultrapyc devices come with reference chambers of multiple sizes to ensure gas reference performance for all sample quantities. Whether you use the smallest sample cell on the instrument, you can obtain accurate results. When selecting the size of the sample cell for measurement, the instrument will automatically select and use the appropriate reference chamber.
The TruLock lid control system enables high repeatability
The two-piece sample chamber lid is specially designed for easy use and ensures that the sample chamber remains airtight. This allows the Ultrapyc to obtain a stable and consistent sample chamber volume, which is crucial for achieving ultra-precise measurements. In addition, the Ultrapyc requires no maintenance and can start measurement with just two turns.
PowderProtect technology enables safe measurement of ultra-fine powders
Using the standard "sample cell first" gas flow direction ensures that you can always control the pressure on the sample during measurement. Switching the device to the PowderProtect mode reverses this sequence, preventing ultra-fine powders from contaminating the instrument. The Ultrapyc 5000 series is the only true density meter on the market today that offers two-way operation options.
Precise, fast, and worry-free temperature control
Controlling temperature through an external water bath is a thing of the past! In the Ultrapyc 5000 true density meter, an advanced Peltier temperature control system is adopted, which can achieve a temperature stability of better than +/-0.05℃, ensuring a clean and tidy workspace. This ensures that you can quickly achieve temperature stability and accurately measure your samples under appropriate temperature conditions regardless of your environmental conditions.
An intuitive user interface facilitates quick operation of the instrument
The Ultrapyc instrument features a 7-inch touchscreen user interface similar to that of a smartphone. Through a graphical overview of the measurement process, you can keep track of the measurement progress at all times. Moreover, you can conduct measurements using the instrument and clearly view detailed measurement results. There's no need to use an additional computer, which saves valuable workbench space in the laboratory.
Direct connection to a weighing balance
By directly connecting your Ultrapyc to any balance with an RS232 interface, you can achieve direct data transmission and avoid potential transcription errors that may occur when manually entering data from an external balance.
