Product Description
1. Product Definition
Cold Rolled Steel Coil (CRC) is a coiled steel product produced by taking hot rolled steel coils as raw material, and undergoing processes such as pickling, cold rolling, annealing, temper rolling and finishing at room temperature (below the recrystallization temperature). Compared with hot rolled steel coils, it features better surface quality, higher dimensional accuracy, thinner thickness and more stable mechanical properties, serving as a key basic material for high-end manufacturing, automobiles, home appliances and other industries.
2. Production Process Flow
Raw Material Preparation: High-quality hot rolled steel coils (thickness 1.5–6.0mm)
Pickling: Remove oxide scale and impurities on the surface of hot rolled coils
Cold Rolling: Tandem cold rolling to the target thickness (0.06–4.0mm)
Annealing: Batch or continuous annealing to eliminate work hardening and restore ductility
Temper Rolling: Small-reduction rolling to improve flatness and surface finish
Finishing: Trimming, straightening and coiling to form finished cold rolled steel coils

Thickness: 0.06mm – 4.0mm (conventional 0.15–3.0mm)
Width: 600mm – 2000mm (conventional 750–1650mm)
Inner Diameter: 508mm (20 inches) / 610mm (24 inches)
Coil Weight: 3–25 tons per coil (conventional 8–18 tons)
Thickness Tolerance: ±0.01mm – ±0.03mm (±0.005mm for high precision grade)

6. Product Characteristics
Excellent surface quality: No oxide scale, high finish (Ra≤0.8μm), suitable for direct painting, electroplating and laminating.
High dimensional accuracy: Tolerances of thickness, width and flatness are much better than hot rolled products, ideal for precision stamping and forming.
Stable and controllable performance: Strength, ductility and hardness can be precisely adjusted by annealing to meet various processing requirements.
Wide thickness range: Ultra-thin specifications available from 0.06mm, covering applications beyond hot rolling.
Good workability: Excellent bending, welding, deep drawing and stretching properties for complex parts.
Good flatness: Minimal wave and camber after multi-pass straightening, suitable for high-speed automated processing.
7. Surface Finish Classification
Bright finish: Mirror luster, suitable for exterior parts and home appliance shells.
Matt finish: Fine matte surface, ideal for painting and printing base.
Rough finish: Slightly rough texture to enhance coating adhesion.

9. Packaging, Transportation & Storage
Packaging: Export-standard waterproof packaging with inner moisture-proof paper, outer steel corner protectors and steel strapping, horizontal placement.
Transportation: Container or open truck transport, securely fastened to avoid collision, rain and moisture.
Storage: Dry and ventilated indoor warehouse, moisture, acid, alkali and dust proof, stored on wooden skids.
Delivery time: 5–7 days for regular sizes.
10. Quality Assurance
Products comply with GB/T 11253, GB/T 5213 and other national standards as well as customer agreements.
Each coil is supplied with a Material Test Certificate (MTC) including chemical composition, mechanical properties, dimensional deviation and surface quality test data.
Original factory quality guarantee is provided, supporting third-party inspection (SGS, BV, etc.).
