Color Coated Steel Coil Product Detailed Description
1. Product Overview
Color coated steel coil, also known as pre-painted steel coil, is a composite metal material made from hot-dipped galvanized steel sheet and hot-dipped galvalume steel sheet as base plates. It is produced through surface degreasing, phosphating passivation pretreatment, continuous roller coating with high-quality environmental protection coatings, and high-temperature baking and curing. The product combines the mechanical strength of steel with the advantages of coating anti-corrosion, anti-rust, weather resistance and decoration, featuring stable material and good processability. It is widely used in construction, home appliances, transportation, hardware manufacturing and other industries.

3. Raw Materials and Production Process
1. Base Plate Material
Adopt base plates from regular large-scale steel mills, with flat surface, uniform zinc coating, excellent base anti-rust performance and pure impurity-free material.
2. Coating Types
Mainstream coatings: Polyester (PE), Silicon Modified Polyester (SMP), High Durability Polyester (HDP), Polyvinylidene Fluoride (PVDF);
Equipped with special environmental protection back paint on the reverse side, with strong paint film adhesion, scratch resistance, bending resistance and not easy to fall off.
3. Production Process
Uncoiling → Surface Cleaning and Passivation → Chemical Pretreatment → Double-sided Roller Coating → High-temperature Curing → Cooling and Leveling → Precision Coiling → Finished Product Inspection
4. Conventional Specification Parameters
• Thickness: 0.12mm–1.5mm, non-standard customization is available
• Conventional Width: 914mm, 1000mm, 1200mm, 1250mm, fixed-length slitting and edge cutting are supported
• Zinc Coating Weight: 80g/㎡～275g/㎡
• Coating Thickness: Front 15–25μm, Reverse 5–10μm
• Color Standard: In accordance with RAL international color card, regular colors in stock include sea blue, white grey, crimson, dark grey, ivory white, custom special color numbers are available
• Coil Weight: 3–8 tons per coil, small coil and fixed-weight production can be customized as required
5. Core Product Features
1. Anti-corrosion & Weather Resistance
The dense and uniform coating effectively isolates water vapor, salt spray and acid-base corrosion, with anti-rust and anti-aging properties, suitable for harsh environments such as coastal, outdoor and humid areas.
2. Excellent Appearance
Smooth and flat surface with uniform color, available in various surface effects including high gloss, matt, embossed and printed. It is not easy to fade, discolor and pulverize after long-term use.
3. Superior Processability
The base plate has good toughness, no cracking and no paint peeling during bending, profiling, shearing, stamping and occlusal processing, suitable for further processing of color steel tiles, sandwich panels and special-shaped components.
4. Selectable Strength
Complete grades from ordinary soft grade to high-strength structural grade, meeting different strength requirements for conventional decoration, load-bearing structures, equipment shells, etc.
5. Environmental & Durable
The paint film is non-toxic and environmentally friendly, recyclable, with simple installation and greatly shortened construction period, featuring high comprehensive cost performance.

1. Construction Engineering
Steel structure workshops, warehouses, agricultural greenhouses, roofing color steel tiles, wall panels, construction enclosures, purification workshops, curtain wall decoration, sandwich panel base materials.
2. Home Appliance Industry
Shells of refrigerators, air conditioners, washing machines, water heaters, small household appliances and various home appliance sheet metal parts.

Container skins, carriage plates, logistics equipment, storage shelf shells.

7. Packaging Method
The whole coil adopts multi-layer protective packaging: inner moisture-proof and anti-rust paper + middle waterproof plastic film + outer thickened iron protective corners, reinforced with steel strips around. It effectively prevents scratching, moisture and deformation during transportation, fully suitable for long-distance domestic land transportation and export sea transportation.
