Calcined Petroleum Coke (CPC) is obtained by heating green petroleum coke at temperature as high as 1400ºC.
With high electrically conductive and low specific electrical resistance, CPC is widely used in the aluminum anode,
graphite electrode, and other carbon consuming industries.

Calcined petroleum coke is a petrochemical product whose raw material is green petroleum coke. It is widely used in the production of graphite electrodes, graphite blocks, brake pads and other products. It is also a kind of carburizing machine used in the production of steel mills and aluminum plants. CPC is also can be used for refractory materials, insulation materials, fillers, etc.
The main uses of calcined petroleum coke are prebaked anodes and anode pastes used in electrolytic aluminum, carbonizers for the carbon industry, graphite electrodes, smelting industrial silicon, and fuels.
Calcined petroleum coke finds its way into the primary aluminum industry; another large segment is used in the steel industry as a recarburizing agent. Other uses include the production of titanium dioxide, which is used as a pigment for paint, plastics,sunscreens, and food coloring.
