1. Product Overview
The JIS F7366 J type flanged cast steel marine gate valve is a high-performance core component specially designed for shipbuilding and offshore engineering. Fully compliant with the Japanese Industrial Standard JIS F7366, this valve is engineered for reliable on-off control of various fluids in ship piping systems. Its J-type full-bore structure ensures minimal flow resistance, zero pressure loss and stable operation, making it an ideal choice for seawater cooling systems, ballast lines, fuel oil lines, steam lines and other large-flow critical pipelines on commercial vessels, tankers, engineering ships and offshore platforms.
2. Material & Construction
Constructed from high-quality cast steel (ZG230-450/WCB), the valve body delivers exceptional strength, pressure resistance and impact resistance, effectively withstanding the harsh marine environment of high humidity, salt spray and seawater corrosion. The internal wedge disc, seat and stem are made of 2Cr13 stainless steel, providing superior hardness, wear resistance and sealing performance. The precision-machined wedge sealing surfaces guarantee bubble-tight shutoff, while the reinforced bonnet structure and reliable packing seal ensure zero leakage under 5K/10K working pressure and long-term continuous operation.
3. Key Features & Design
This JIS F7366 J type gate valve features a standard JIS flanged end connection, which is fully compatible with ship piping systems for easy installation, disassembly, maintenance and replacement. The manual handwheel operation with a rising stem design allows smooth and precise control, with a clear visual indication of the valve opening position, greatly improving operational safety and maintenance efficiency. The full-bore straight-through flow channel reduces fluid resistance to the minimum, improves circulation efficiency and minimizes energy loss, making it suitable for long-term continuous operation on board.
4. Application & Specifications
Widely used in shipbuilding, ship repair, marine engineering and offshore projects, this cast steel gate valve is suitable for a variety of ship systems, including seawater cooling systems, ballast systems, bilge systems, fuel oil systems, lubricating oil systems and steam systems. It covers a full size range from DN25 to DN300, with pressure ratings of 5K and 10K, and can withstand working temperatures from -20℃ to 205℃. The valve can also be customized with pneumatic or electric actuators for automated remote control, and different materials or certificates to meet specific project requirements.

Each JIS F7366 J type cast steel gate valve undergoes strict factory inspection, including hydrostatic pressure testing, leakage testing, material inspection and appearance inspection, to ensure 100% compliance with marine standards and zero defects before shipment. We can provide classification society certificates such as CCS, BV, LR and ABS upon request to meet the strict inspection requirements of shipyards and shipowners worldwide. All valves are packed in standard export plywood wooden cases (non-fumigation or IPPC fumigated), coated with anti-rust oil and wrapped in waterproof plastic film, ensuring safe transportation and perfect arrival at the destination.
