A high-flow filter element is a product used for filtration, primarily applied in the automotive parts sector as well as in industrial fields such as medicine, lithium-ion batteries, and water treatment. Its design allows high-flow media to pass through, featuring characteristics such as high flow rate per filter element, low pressure loss, and long service life.
This product adopts a multi-layer folding structure to increase the filtering area. Common structures include a guide layer, a support layer, and a filtering layer. The filtering method is mostly inside-in or outside-in. The length of the filter cartridge is commonly 20 inches, 40 inches, and 60 inches, with an outer diameter of about 152 millimeters. The filtering accuracy range is usually between 1 and 100 micrometers.
Large-flow filter cartridges are used in industrial water treatment for pre-filtration of ultrafiltration systems, filtration of high-flow industrial circulating water, filtration of cutting fluids, pre-filtration of seawater desalination, filtration of power plant condensate water, pre-filtration of reverse osmosis, process water and wastewater treatment, and cooling water systems. In the pharmaceutical and microelectronics industries, they are used for filtration of active pharmaceutical ingredients and solvents, as well as high-purity water filtration. Additionally, they are also applied in automotive electroplating processes, petroleum desulfurization, food and beverage industries such as filtration of wine and liquid sugar, as well as in the pharmaceutical and lithium battery industries.
