YJ: Cross-linked POLYETHYLENE (XLPE) Insulation
V: POLYVINYL CHLORIDE (PVC) outer jacket
22: double steel tape armor + PVC outer jacket
1st "2": Double-layer galvanized steel tape armor (compression resistance, impact resistance, rodent resistance)
2nd "2": Armored outer cover POLYVINYL CHLORIDE jacket
8.7 / 15kV: rated voltage level (GB/T 12706.2)
U0=8.7kV: Conductor to ground (shielding layer) rated voltage
U = 15kV: rated voltage between conductors
Um = 17.5kV: Maximum allowable peak voltage of the system (safety margin)
(Copper core): The model is omitted, and the aluminum core is YJLV22
II. Cable structure (from the inside to the outside)
Conductor: copper core (mostly compact round), common specification : 3×50, 3×70, 3×95, 3×120, 3×150, 3×240, 3×300mm2
Inner Shielding: Reduce electric field concentration and protect insulation
Main insulation layer: cross-linked POLYETHYLENE (XLPE), thickness designed according to high pressure standard
External Shielding: uniform electric field, connected with metal shield
Metal Shielding: Copper strip/copper wire, conducting fault current
Filling material: Filling when the cable is made to ensure roundness
Armor layer: Double galvanized steel strip, mechanical protection core
outer jacket: black POLYVINYL CHLORIDE (PVC), weather-resistant, oil-resistant, corrosion-resistant
III. Core electrical and temperature characteristics
Long-term working temperature: 90 °C (XLPE insulation characteristics)
Short-circuit withstand temperature (≤5 seconds): 250 °C
Laying temperature: Air ≥ 0 °C, soil ≥ 5 °C
Minimum bend radius: ≥ 15 to 20 times cable diameter (depending on specifications)
Service life: Design ** ≥ 30 years**

Laying method: Direct burial, cable trench, cable tray, pipe threading (direct burial is preferred)
