Steel gates include inspection and testing of materials, inspection of components and processes during manufacturing, performance testing after manufacturing, and inspection and testing of painting work. All testing work will be carried out by us. If necessary, the owner's representative will be present. Chemical composition analysis of test bars taken from the gate plate, gate frame, and frame is used to verify their composition. We will provide all test certificates for screw materials to better carry out the work. When selecting the gate structure, we need to consider the working nature, location, operating conditions, and span of the sluice hole of the cast iron gate in the water conservancy project. We also need to refer to existing operating practices and conduct economic comparisons to select the most suitable one. Among them, the commonly used gate structures are flat cast iron gates and arc cast iron gates. Most of the exposed and submerged cast iron gates use arc gates. High-head deep-hole working cast iron gates all use arc gates. When used as accident gates and inspection cast iron gates, flat gates need to be used. The manufacturing and installation accuracy of the gate leaf and embedded parts of the gate products should be strictly controlled. In addition to referring to the successful tests of existing operations, a series of possible problems should be solved through hydraulic model tests, and the selected gate slot structure should be determined.
A "main control item" welding process card has been prepared for the first and second types of welds of the gate. Qualified welders participating in the gate welding are required to strictly follow the process discipline and various requirements, effectively controlling the welding deformation of the gate, ensuring the production of the product, and achieving good economic benefits. The welding requirements for steel gates: In addition to ensuring that the welding meets the regulations according to the requirements of the tender and the manufacturing, installation, and acceptance specifications of steel gates in water conservancy and hydropower projects, controlling welding deformation is the primary issue in the overall manufacturing process.
When the gate leaf is assembled as a whole, the gaps at various parts should be strictly controlled. Generally, the overall gate is manufactured in sections. According to the design and process requirements of the manufacturing structure, after the overall assembly, to ensure the welding requirements of the overall gate leaf, there should be temporary stiffening ribs every few millimeters between the connection parts of each section to strengthen the rigidity of the gate body. After the assembly of the gate leaf is completed, the inspectors will strictly and carefully check the overall dimensions, assembly, groove size, and assembly gap. If it is unqualified, it must be rectified according to the requirements until it is qualified. The arc steel gate is an important part of the hydraulic structure. It is widely used as the working gate of the water discharge structure due to its unique advantages such as large sealable orifice area, good water flow conditions, and relatively small hoisting force required.
