A "main control item" welding process card has been prepared for the first and second types of welds of the gate. Qualified welders participating in the gate welding are required to strictly follow the process discipline and various requirements, effectively controlling the welding deformation of the gate, ensuring the production of the product, and achieving good economic benefits. The welding requirements for steel gates: In addition to ensuring that the welding meets the regulations according to the requirements of the tender and the manufacturing, installation, and acceptance specifications of steel gates in water conservancy and hydropower projects, controlling welding deformation is the primary issue in the overall manufacturing process.

When the gate leaf is assembled as a whole, the gaps at various parts should be strictly controlled. Generally, the overall gate is manufactured in sections. According to the design and process requirements of the manufacturing structure, after the overall assembly, to ensure the welding requirements of the overall gate leaf, there should be temporary stiffening ribs every few millimeters between the connection parts of each section to strengthen the rigidity of the gate body. After the assembly of the gate leaf is completed, the inspectors will strictly and carefully check the overall dimensions, assembly, groove size, and assembly gap. If it is unqualified, it must be rectified according to the requirements until it is qualified. The arc steel gate is an important part of the hydraulic structure.
