Non-slip Foot Pads
The bottom of each column is fitted with a special pad. These are not just cheap plastic caps.
Anti-slip Foot Pads: These pads are made from a material that grips the floor. Concrete floors in garages and workshops can be smooth and dusty. These pads dig in and prevent the shelf from sliding around.
Widen the Stance: Look closely, and you will see the pads are wider than the column itself. This is intentional. By widening the stance, we give the shelf a bigger footprint. A wider base is harder to tip over.

The Auxiliary Frame
When you need more storage, you do not buy another complete shelf. You buy an auxiliary frame.
Only One Column: The auxiliary frame (or subframe) has only one column. It cannot stand alone. It is designed to be used with a main frame.
How to Connect: You place the auxiliary frame next to your existing main frame. The shelves then connect to the column of the main frame on one side and the single column of the auxiliary frame on the other side. The two frames share a column in the middle.
Infinite Extension: You can keep adding auxiliary frames. Main frame, then auxiliary, then another auxiliary, and so on. You can create a whole wall of storage, as long as you need.

Butterfly Bayonet Connection
Connecting the frames and attaching the shelves is simple. We use a butterfly bayonet connection.
Tool-Free: No wrenches, no sockets, no bolts. You simply insert the tabs on the shelf into the slots on the column and let it drop down. It locks itself in place.
Height Adjustable: The butterfly buckle design also allows you to adjust the shelf height. You can move shelves up or down to accommodate different sizes of tools and materials.
