Our factory specializes in supplying high-quality 4Cr13 mold steel that meets national standards. 4Cr13 is a martensitic corrosion-resistant plastic mold steel with properties similar to Swedish S136, featuring excellent corrosion resistance, good polishing performance, and high hardness. Due to its cost-effectiveness, it has become an economical and efficient choice for manufacturing medium to high-end plastic molds, especially those that need to work in corrosive environments.
Excellent corrosion resistance: Containing approximately 13% chromium, it exhibits excellent corrosion resistance under general usage conditions. It can withstand corrosion from water vapor, humid atmospheres, and certain weakly acidic plastics such as PVC, effectively extending the lifespan of molds.
Excellent polishing performance: With pure material and uniform structure, after proper heat treatment, it can achieve good mirror polishing effect, meeting the appearance quality requirements of most plastic products.
High hardness and wear resistance: High hardness (HRC 48-52) can be achieved through heat treatment, and its wear resistance is superior to that of pre-hardened steel P20, making it suitable for production applications with wear resistance requirements.
Stable heat treatment performance: good hardenability, relatively small deformation during heat treatment, excellent dimensional stability, suitable for manufacturing precision mold parts.
